The National Bird-Feeding Society is pleased to partner with the leaders in environmental education to provide you with educational activities for your students.  These activities are for students of all grade levels.

Bird Buffet

Students will create tasty treats for common backyard birds.

Feeder Frenzy

Grade Level: 6-8
Students will identify common birds that are attracted to bird feeders; use scientific research methods; and determine if different birds have different diets.

Hidden Hazards
Sponsor: Flying WILD: An Educator's Guide to Celebrating Birds
Grade Level: 6-8
Students will experience and describe some of the limiting factors affecting Neotropical migratory bird populations and explain that many of these hazards are created by humans.
