Posting and Transmitting Content

The National Bird-Feeding Society (NBFS) contains web pages with digital media and written content provided by our members. You are responsible for your own content if it is posted on the NBFS site.

The following content is prohibited from the NBFS site:

• Content involving nudity
• Content exploiting minors
• Content posted for malicious reasons
• Content promoting illegal activities
• Content not relevant to the NBFS mission
• Content that contains or transmits viruses or corrupted files
• Copyrighted material without the permission of the owner

The NBFS website is monitored on a regular basis, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any content posted in the member’s area or photo gallery. We reserve the right to remove any content that does not meet our standards and deny access to posting areas.

Grant of License

When digital media and written content is posted on the NBFS website, you grant the NBFS the right to use, store, display, publish, distribute, and reproduce documents, and other materials with required credit(s) listed.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to perform any or all of the following without notice:

• Reject any username considered offensive
• Remove any posted content in the member’s area or photo gallery
• Suspend or terminate access to the member’s area or photo gallery

Reporting Violations

If any content on the NBFS website violates these terms please report the violation to the NBFS staff.
