Description
On Sunday, October 25 from 1:30-3:00 p.m., Wild Bird Center of Fort Wayne will give a free public presentation on the importance of safe practices to be used when inviting wild birds into our yards, to help guard against communicable diseases such as West Nile Virus and Avian Flu, as well as the harmful effects of pesticides on birds and the toxins from improperly cared for feeders, bird houses and bird baths. A discussion of why birds are so important in the environment and what to do if sick or injured birds are found also will be presented.
