Feed & Seed
Depot Feed and Seed Depot is a one-stop lawn and garden shop providing wild bird enthusiasts with a wide variety of birding products. We offer many types of wild bird seed in packages and in bulk, including Crestwood Mix wild bird seed. Our customers can also custom design their own seed mix in any quantity from our open bulk bins. Individual seeds such as black oil sunflower, stripe sunflower, sunflower chips, cracked corn, safflower, thistle (nyjer) and millet are available. We also offer several types of suet cakes. Hummingbird feeders of various shapes and sizes are very popular and stocked throughout the store, hanging from the ceiling, perched atop poles and sitting on shelves. Wildlife habitats are available, such as purple martin houses, bluebird houses and butterfly boxes. Many of our products are made by local craftsmen while others are made by such leading manufacturers as Droll Yankees, Perky-Pet and Heritage Farms. For squirrel lovers, we sell corn-on-the-cob, food blocks and peanuts (and feeders, of course!) And when squirrels overstep their bounds by invading would bird feeders, we offer squirrel baffles and squirrel-proof feeders. Owner Steve Bowen is accompanied at the store by the store cat, Kitty and dog, Morgan (a springer spaniel).
